Assessments
Pre-Employment Assessments
This service involves assessing an individual job applicant’s physical and functional capacity against the critical physical demands determined necessary to perform the job for which they are applying.
Initial Needs Assessments
The aim of this assessment is to: provide an overview of the current status of the injured worker; determine the rehabilitation goals; and establish a plan of action to achieve these goals. This is achieved through in-depth discussion with an injured worker and consultation with all other relevant parties.
Workplace Assessments (WPA)
Workplace assessments are conducted at your business premises with the aims of determining the physical demands of the job, and a worker’s level of function. The results provide the basis for establishing a return to work program, or for making decisions regarding a individual’s ability to return to a particular job.
Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE)
This is an objective assessment of an individual’s existing and potential functional tolerances. The assessments can be tailored to a specific job, the worker’s previous work experience or potential employment opportunities. |
